The unfolding of a vision......

Sitting around working on some projects, there's a knock on the door and there is Michaela. She is home from school and here to pick up a dress that she had loaned Hannah last year. She was going to a Halloween party, dressed as Tinkerbell and was going to "cut" the dress and add some wings. "NO, NO, NO I say, NOT until I see my Mermaid vision to completion." She and I had talked about this a few different times, knew it would happen eventually, but at this moment??? So down to the beach we go, and need I say more? So brave she was, because believe me, it was Cold out there! Nor'estern wind blowing COLD!! What a sport she is! I love when friends like this stop by to visit!

"It's beginning to look alot like Christmas"

Ok! Right here! One of my fav's! This little guy's third visit to the Studio and he sure know's how to work the camera. We had so much fun! Mom brought his Dad's old toys, and R just ran around playing with everything. Another reason why I just love the candid Studio shots. This guy looks so at ease and he had so much fun just being himself. Making us laugh!!!Thanks Mom and Dad, for another great session with R. I enjoy every minute with him!

Engagement Session~Boston, MA~Watch Hill, RI

I met this very cool couple in Boston for their engagement shoot. I think Doug maybe would have preferred to be home watching Football, (actually I know this, because he basically shared this info with me) Kerri bribed him with some good ol' buffalo wings when they got home. Ha! Not too many guys dig this stuff, but I think they do it out of LOVE....The morning was sunny and warm, just perfect for walking around the city. I had fun, relaxing, getting to know them before the BIG day....

They're getting married next summer in Watch Hill, at the very new (very old), Ocean House Hotel! How amazing will that be???

Another trip to a local Nursery

This was my 3rd session with this little bundle of joy & energy and what fun we had! We met at a local nursery on a crisp clear day, where some of the Fall colors were hanging on, and from there it "unfolded". We went with the flow. Little "L" dictated the shoot, because she wasn't very interested in sitting and looking into the lesn so we worked around that! Regardless, I think we got some keepers! The many expressions of "L". Fall Family Shoot~Narragansett, RI

The autumn colors were so bright when we got together in Narragansett for this Family portrait session, and we found the perfect spots along Boston Neck and down by the Narrow River. Maternity shoot~Jamestown

Last weekend I had the opportunity to shoot this maternity session out in a field in Jamestown. I can't think of a more intimate and sensual setting than outdoors for a maternity shoot. Dad looked at Mom with such love and appreciation. She is such a beautiful woman and you could tell that he was over the top in love with her! Its so refreshing to see this type of tenderness. What a lucky baby this is!
