Christmas 2008

Christmas was a blast this year! We started celebrating Christmas Eve at Brooke and Kevin's, where little Grayson was able to be in his own house, enjoying his own tree, while we were able to kick back and take it all in ....the wonder of it all.

The SISTER'S got crazy, as usual....Kev and Cyril, did you have any idea what you were in for????

How they "delight" in each other. If there were only ONE thing I was able to say I'm grateful for; it would be this! Their true love for each other, their undying respect of each others differences, the joy they exude when they are together, being themselves, laughing SO HARD. (accidents happening). Always fun, always enjoying life and each other. Thank you, Girls, for your devoted love towards one another. It's hard not to think of Mary, and miss her when i see you 3 being "crazy", but then i am quickly reminded that it is in honor of her, of our Sisterhood, and, oh how she'd love that!!
I hope you'll always continue to be there for each other. But of course, you will!

From there we went on to to celebrate Christmas morning..

Little Buddy in his long johns! Oh my!

The picture of adorableness! He is so in love with Grandpa, isn't he?

We also pulled off a baby shower for Miss Cait and a surprise birthday party for Hannah B.

Memories....

Another rather "perfect" Christmas week! With all the different celebrations this month, i think of all the friends and family who came and gathered with us! Must have been 100!! Thanks to all who helped make Christmas 2008 so memorable!

Here's To All Good Women

Here's to All the Good Women..............
May we know Them;
May we be Them;
May we raise Them!
Happy New Year to all of you!

Brooke's 30th

Kevin threw a SURPRISE party for Brooke this past weekend at our house. Of course, she wasn't surprised becasue if there is one thing this family does REALLY well, it's NOT keeping a secret. Why is that? Actually, this time no one spilled the beans, instead Brooke found the list of names that Kev had been keeping. She was surprised by a few things tho. Joel came down from Boston, and Candy and Jess showed up too~ But what really blows my mind is that I have a 30 year old, and that's how old I am, so how can that be???
Here's a few snapshots of the evening.
Great cake, Kev!
On the morning of Brooke's birthday we went down to the Beach, where it all "began".
One of the first places Brooke took Kevin when she brought him home to meet the Fam and it is where they were engaged, and then finally where they were married. We took a family portrait on that beach on a cold and very windy December morning. A portrait that Brooke had created in her mind for the perfect spot over the mantle. She knew EXACTLY what she wanted. So it happened that way! Hope you like it Sweetie!

Lame attempt

I had the awsome pleasure of photographing Kelly's family. We met at their B & B in Narragansett. Great spot!! "Cummings Inn" down by the Pier. If you are ever looking for a sweet spot, walk to the ocean be sure to call them up! They are located at 83 Kingstown Rd in Narragansett.

Here is my pretty lame attempt at making a christmas card for them. And here are their babies, the very handsome Bailey, and the lovely Miss Holly (appropriatley named)

Have a wonderful Christmas Kel. It was wonderful meeting the whole Fam. Their all as sweet as you!

While we had Emily in the studio for some photographs, which we wanted to give to her Mom as a surprise, Hannah jumped into the fun, (of course)and then the two of them started messing around.

Waiting....

It blows my mind watching my girls growing up and having their children. Today we all woke up to the first fallen snow of the season. Cait looking more and more beautiful to us with each passing day, full of joy and wonder with the thoughts of what's to come, taking such good care of her and her baby.

Then Grayson came down for a visit, knocking on the family room window, eyes shining with amazement! "Come outside Grandma and Adar" Come see the snow!"

We are truly blessed with these children of ours, and their children.

Thank you, kids for all the happiness you've given us. There is nothing more I need than you.

Simple abundance.

Joy.

Family.

Love.

Little Boy Blue

What can I say about this first full year with Grayson?? He has brought so much joy to our family. He's now walking and talking, and at 14 months he's caught up to all his "full term" peers. What a great blessing he is to all of us. He puts up with my antics, and has gotten quite used to my lens in his face everytime I'm with him. This was a series of shots i took of him in his Little Boy Blue outfit. Is this not the picture of innocence?

And how he loves his "paci". I love you too, Little Buddy.
