Baby O

Baby O arrived on the scene a little ahead of schedule and I don't think his Mom really was expecting it! Right C? This little guy was ready to come on out and meet the world. Well welcome to the world, little man. You are a sweet, sweet baby....It was my pleasure to photograph you in your first week of life. Oh, I love my job, I really, really do!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Connor Brian, and welcome to Earth! You are in the hands of two of the finest people I've had the pleasure of knowing. They will give you all the LOVE you need, (and then some). You are one handsome little guy!

Monica

Monica is expecting her second child and came to me for her Maternity pictures!
She has always been blessed with the most beautiful complexion and now while pregnant she seems to glow. She really does! It won't be long now until Ethan has a baby brother! OR sister! We'll have to wait to find out! I love that more and more woman are waiting now until Birth to learn of their babies sex. It seems such a natural thing to do. The past 4 Moms who have come to me for photo shoots have chosen to wait! A beautiful thing! Here are some of my favorite shots, Mon. Hope you had as much fun as I did!

The Easter People

Today was a great session with little R and The Easter People. I photographed R when he was about 2 months old, and what a joy it was to have him back at 7 mos. The Easter People do have a story behind them. They were celebrating their 30th anniversary today. Not sure what R thought about them, and actually I was beginning to think they're kind of scarey so I was wondering what WAS going through that little head of his, BUT the session rocked. We had a blast. Lots of laughing. Thanks A for keeping the shoot running smoothly, I think we sang every song in the book. He was so good, and kept hanging on til we got the shots we were after.. So...

He got the Best- Ever -7 -Month- Old -award. Here are a few of my favorites!
He's keeping an eye on them, in this one! :)

So if you have any Easter people OR Egg People holding up in the attic, bring them in to the studio and let's have some fun. (Oh, and don't forget the baby!)

Sandi...and Co.

Today's Maternity shoot was special, especially since it was just a week ago I was present at the birth of my little Granddaughter. It's amazing that inside these belly's is a real little person, just waiting to come out and meet his/her Mommy & Daddy. Well today's Mommy was absolutely beautiful! I think you'll all agree. Today's shoot was a Baby Shower gift for her, from her cousin, who I photographed when she was pregnant!
Sandi, I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them. Here is a little preview of what's to come. Have a great day at the Shower!!!

Emma moves into her new HOME

Today the little Emma came home from the hospital and settled into her now room. All afternoon not a peep out of her..she ate and slept, and mostly snuggled with her mommy and daddy.
Hannah and I made the trek up for a visit, and of course, a "mini-shoot".
Here are a few of the shots we got of the ever so sweet EMMA GRACE. She was a perfect little model. Thanks Emma!

What a sweetheart! The window light was all we needed for these shots! And a little patience on the part of Mom and Dad. Thanks guys! I hope it was worth it. We definatley got some good ones! The art of photographing the newborn takes lots of patience, time, plenty of breaks, and good natural light. Emma's room is ligth filled as well as bright and beautiful!

Life doesn't get much better than this! We'll have more pictures posted soon to Emma's gallery at http://www.sevengablesphotography.com/

Happy Birthday, Emma Grace Costa

On March 8th at 7:17 a.m., my daughter Caitlin & her husband Cyril, joyfully welcomed little Emma Grace into their lives. I was there, with camera in hand, and tried my hardest to capture some of the most precious moments of the birth. Cait was almost serene through out the entire night, and the two of them worked "together". Here's a shot of "Team Costa" and little Emma's first 6 hours on Earth! What a little angel she is! She really is! And she has the most amazing eyes and eyelashes. I haven't decided who she looks like. The Costa's think she looks like Cyril, and sometimes I see Caitlin in her (of course!) No all kidding aside; I really don't know. Not a mini-me, like Grayson. We all know who he looks like!
I admire these two so much. They know how to laugh and they were so in the moment, and so excited to learn of the sex of the baby. Here are some of my favorite moments with the Costa's at the most important moments of their lives.

Grayson had that little "I know you guys are up to something" look.

Grandpa Costa couldn't take his eyes off of her...he kept saying "belle" (I think that means beautiful)
And yeah, I did put down the camera once, so that Cyril could take a photo of very proud, Grandma and Auntie Brooke! Grandpa Schneids kept his little buddy busy, riding wheelchairs! Happy, happy Grandma Costa! Uncle Muff Miss B gets a small smile! Sweet, sweet Grayson......
Now I've got to get some sleep!!! Emma has her first Photo Shoot tomorrow in Boston!
Stay tuned for those photos!
Thanks for all your wonderful, sweet emails and "facebook" comments. They're the best!!!
