Bean Town has taken on a whole new meaning now...now that we have "Beansie"! Hannah and I spent the day with the Bostonians and took little Beans out shopping for some "back to school" clothes. Cait goes back to work on Monday and Emma will be starting day care. There have been lots of tears shed over the past few days, but a lot of signs too. We know, whatever will be, will be; and will be alright..We love you Emma Beans!

Victoria Hazard Fun-Raiser
As I write this, a whole week has passed since we held Victoria's fundraiser here in the gardens. I am still in awe over the amount of support from our friends, family & community. Your presence here last Saturday will remain in our hearts for ever..we will never forget your giving spirits, and compassion. I know that Victoria and her family were touched by all your help, and LOVE. We did raise quite a bit of money, but we also raised a whole lot of FUN. Here are a few of the highlights from last weeks Mini-Photo-12-hour-marathon-shoot! Thank you, everyone, and for those who could not attend but choose to give of themselves in some way, like the yummy Dells Lemonade from Mick and Kelly Cummings of Dells Lemonade in Wakefield, Jerry Roek, of JR Photos and Web design, who helped out with the website at the last minute, The McGarry's who so generously gave, those of you who gave a donation but could not attend, Dorothy, who is my right hand and soul sister, my husband who thought I was out of mind completely, but carried our bed out into the garden anyway for me, because we definatley needed a "Garden Bed", (like we don't have enough).....and my Girls, who are the air that i breathe, the light in my life, who share the same undying compassion for (good) people, whose hearts are so big and whose spirits strong, and their husbands, (my new b.f.'s) and my Grandchildren, Grayson & Emma. I love you all. Thank you! Let's continue our prayers for Victoria!
Here are just a few highlights of our day...oh, and thank you in advance, for your patience while I edit close to 2500 photos. I'll have all your galleries up on line this week!

Garden & Beach
What a good time I had with this family who drove all the way from Ct for their family portraits. Here's a family who knows how to have fun! We shot about 45 minutes in the gardens then went down to the beach for some late afternoon "beach light". The kids were adorable and by the end of our session I had 4 new freinds!
Thanks M & J for putting your trust in me to capture precious moments of your family!
Here's a sampling... :) I love this picture. G was getting huggier and huggier with little C until we finally had to say "OK, that's enough huggies".

Gone Fishing & other stuff...
Many men (women) go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.
~Henry David Thoreau~
Sometimes we're more like an old married couple than B.F.'s of 30+ years.
Sometimes there is no need for words with us, we just sit, & listen to the beauty around us, sometimes that's all we need.
The other night my aching back was killing me, and I kicked back and photographed the world around me, while you fished. It cracked me up when I took a look at these pictures. We're so funny, you and me. Look where life has taken us! "We crack me up!" I love this life. We're gonna be "OK"!

Two Little Sisters
These two little cutie pies were so darn adorable. I was incredibly psyched when their Mom called me to do their photographs because their Mom was a friend of Brooke's in H.S. It's even more special for me, when my clients, are from our "past" and they are bringing their young families, into the studio. Such a pleasure, to see where life has taken you, Krissy. Your family is beautiful! It wasn't easy trying to get F to hold her newborn little sister, and we sure had a few good laughs, but we managed to get the shot! I love the look on her face. "Ok, take the picture, MOM take the baby!" Too cute; both of them!!!!
I found this great little Tu-Tu at T.J.'s and thought "This will be perfect for the Studio". Well, it sorta wasn't working for this little darling. Unfortunately, the material is quite scratchy and she couldn't wait to get it off. I had another little girl this weekend who was not into the Tu-Tu and the moment Mom put it on her it was "WAHHHH!" :)
Here's a few of my fav's from our session. Thanks so much Kris for bringing them in; I enjoyed every minute with you! Hope to see them back here, as they grow and become even tighter SISTER'S, like you & yours!
