Bugalosa, Louisiana

I spent 5 wonderful days down in Louisiana, with my new friend Alicia and her warm welcoming family.

This is Austin who absolutely WORSHIPS his trains. And then there is his charming, sweet brother, Anderson. Who follows him all around, and manages to keep up really well. These are the darling faces I woke up to every morning! These handsome boys, had me missing Grayson pretty bad, but also gave me my "fix". Alicia is the very talented owner of http://www.louisianamoments/and my reason for traveling all the way to Louisiana in the first place.

We pulled some late nights on our computers working with Photoshop, and I learned so much. During the day we had some photo shoots lined up. We had the lovely Missy's on the first day and did this shoot in beautiful, old New Orleans. We had planned on shooting IN the old cemetery but found it locked when we got there. However, we managed to get some pretty cool stuff on the "outside" of the gates.

The city of New Orleans is a photographers paradise, with so many gates, and rod iron balconies. Not to mention the beautiful older homes lining Canal street.
I'm hoping to get some of our young ladies to put on their old prom gowns and come out for a Trash the Dress shoot here in RI. Or as they say in Louisiana, "Rock the Frock"
Thanks Alicia! It was just perfect. I look forward to your trip here in the Fall!
Tell Austin, Miss Caffy sends her love.
